How it works
Simple enough to disappear into your workflow
Connect your calendar
Your meetings appear automatically, straight from Google Calendar. TNN suggests recording 1 minute before each call with a native macOS notification. No setup, no friction, no bots joining your calls.
TNN listens. Privately.
Audio never leaves your Mac. Transcription runs on-device using a local AI model - no cloud, no subscription, no data sharing.
Every meeting builds your context.
Minutes after the call you have one clean Markdown file: the timestamped transcript, your own notes, and every summary or artifact - together, organized meeting by meeting in TNN's inbox. A private archive that quietly becomes your context.
Then let Claude work with it.
TNN ships an MCP server, so Claude can reach your whole library. Create artifacts right from a conversation - a team note, a client recap, action items - and they save back into the meeting file. Then keep asking: Claude answers from your entire context, not just one call.
Your conversations stay
on your computer. Period. 💅
Everything runs locally. Your audio never touches a server.
We have no infrastructure to store your data - because we never receive it.
Transcription needs no account at all. AI notes run through your own Claude subscription - and you see exactly which files it reads.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is my audio really private?
Yes. Recording and transcription happen entirely on your Mac - the audio never touches a server, because there is no server. The one online step is optional AI notes: they run through your own Claude account, and you can see exactly which files Claude reads.
Does a bot join my meetings?
No. TNN captures the audio playing on your Mac, so nothing joins the call. No meeting links, no “recording assistant” in the participant list, nothing for the other side to notice.
Do I need a Claude subscription?
Not for the core: recording, transcription, live notes, dictation and your archive work without any account. AI-written notes and the MCP connection use your own Claude Pro or Max subscription - no API keys, no extra AI fees from us.
Where do my files live?
In a folder you choose (by default ~/Documents/TNN). Every meeting is one plain Markdown file: your notes, the transcript and the AI notes together. Delete the app tomorrow - the files are still yours.
What is MCP, in one sentence?
A standard that lets Claude use apps as tools - TNN’s MCP server lets Claude list your meetings, read notes and transcripts, run your skills, and save the results back into the meeting file. Setup is one click in Settings.
Which meeting apps does it work with?
All of them. Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack huddles, a phone call on speaker, a conversation in the room - if your Mac can hear it, TNN can transcribe it.
Which languages are supported?
TNN detects the language automatically - even when a meeting switches mid-sentence. Built on Whisper, which handles dozens of languages; we use it daily in English and Polish.
What do I need to run it?
A Mac with Apple Silicon on macOS 13 or later. The transcription model downloads once (~600 MB) and runs on the Neural Engine - no internet needed after that.
